Absent minded

My body it sits with me

It holds my cup

It brings it to my lips

But my mind is absent.

My back it makes me stand

Dresses my legs

Pulls me out of bed

But my mind is absent.

My fingers it makes me food

Brings into my mouth

Makes me swallow them in half

But my mind it is absent.

My hands pulls the tap up to run a bath

Lures my skin into the water

Washes me with soap

But my mind is absent.
