Lonely hour

Sam Smith did not create the lonely hour.

For I have felt more than an hour of loneliness.

In my hour I bow down to the heavens above.

At the same hour of every day.

Every mourn.

Every sunrise.

And that hour is mine,

A lonely hour can be seen as depressing,

And in that lonely hour it can be exhausting,

A drag.

But in that lonely hour of mine,

I think it is quite divine,

I get to meet with myself again,

Collect my thoughts,

Grasp my pen,

In a forever changing world…

Where the lines for what I call home are blurred,

A lonely hour in modern day and age it seems,

Is what one really needs.
