People here do not see universal credit as poverty they see it as people deliberately taking from the state , and this opinion comes from Bill who is on DSA.
Empathy eats sympathy and the friendliest person you’ll meet today will be the middle aged lady serving you in Greggs or Sainsbury’s. The scariest person is the drugged up old guy who follows you out asking for a cig, a tab, a lighter, 20p or 50p.
The scariest thing really should be the headlines and the front pages of the local paper and the politicians making decisions for our futures that we feel we have no say.
